두 강아지가 있었다.

강아지들이 사는 마을에는

천 개의 거울이 있는 집이 있었다.

둘 중 작은 강아지는 이상한 집에 대한 

이야기를 듣고 호기심을 가졌다.

그 집의 계단을 올라

귀를 쫑긋 세우고 꼬리를 흔들면서

문 사이로 집안을 들여다보니,

정말 놀랍게도

천 마리의 강아지들이 

자신을 보고 반기는 것이 아닌가!

작은 강아지는 신이 나서

"정말 멋진 집이구나! 앞으로 자주 찾아와야겠어."

한편 덩치 큰 강아지 역시 

소문을 듣고 집을 찾아왔다.

조심스레 문을 열고 안을 들여다보았다.

그러자 천 마리 강아지들이

무섭게 자신을 노려보고 있는 게 아닌가!

큰 강아지가 재빨리 집을 빠져나오며 

던진 한 마디!

"정말 무서운 곳이구나! 조심해야겠다!"
